Arctic Monkeys to play Paradise

, Staff
English rockers Arctic Monkeys will make a stateside trip later this summer. The band’s American tour will stop in Boston for an intimate show at the Paradise Rock Club on Wednesday, August 5. Tickets for the 18+ show are now on sale for $26.50. Modey Lemon will open the show.
The Brit rockers will be touring in support of their forthcoming album, Humbug, which is set for release on August 25. The album was recorded earlier this year with co-producers Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age in Los Angeles and the Mohave& Desert& and James Ford, who the band has worked with for their past two efforts, in Brooklyn. Humbug follows 2007’s Favourite Worst Nightmare and their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.
