Arctic Monkeys plan return visit

After rocking the intimate confines of the Paradise Rock Club, the Arctic Monkeys have revealed plans for a return visit to Boston. The band will perform at the House of Blues on Sunday, December 13. Tickets for the show are $26.50 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The Brit rockers are touring in support of their new album, Humbug, which hit stores in August. The album was recorded earlier this year with co-producers Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age in Los Angeles and the Mohave Desert and James Ford, who the band has worked with for their past two efforts, in Brooklyn. Humbug follows 2007’s Favourite Worst Nightmare and their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.
